Thank goodness for that. I won't go into the gory details, but let's just say that I am beyond relieved that it is all over. It has been tough, but as you can see, I'm pretty damn chuffed with what I have achieved! Thank you to all of you for your support, particularly to those of you who left me such lovely messages of encouragement - they meant so much to me and came just at the right time. Thank you also to my lovely friends and family for all of your love, patience and gorgeous pressies! What more could a girl want than a printed and bound dissertation, a bacteria-themed cupcake, some beautiful wool all the way from Harris, flowers on the table and a bottle of bubbly? Actually, I would quite like my Ginge back - he is currently in Edinburgh at a conference and I am missing him terribly - but that is not the point. You have all been amazing and I am a very lucky girl indeed!

Yay!!! Congratulations!! That's so huge! You completely deserved the cupcake and the bubbly. Just hopefully there wasn't any nasty bacteria in either. :)
